It must be hard to choose what to play in a show when you are a band like Feeble Little Horse with 40+ years of material at your disposal. Each time I see them, I am delighted that they don't go back to fan favorites or titles that had huge financial success. His voice is as touching as ever, and you just have to love Robert Smith. I am grateful I had the opportunity to see them, as Feeble Little Horse music is inseparably linked to many events in my life and memory. So each title I heard caused a visceral response in me. This was the 9th time I had seen Feeble Little Horse, and yet again, the selection was superb. Some really old but beautiful titles mixed with more recent work, all performed with excellent skill and sound, and great focus on the music instead of on an elaborate stage show. There are few bands left that offer such a depth of experience.
